Gargellen

Gargellen is a picturesque mountain village located in the Montafon valley in Vorarlberg, Austria. Situated at an altitude of 1,423 meters, it is known for its stunning alpine scenery and its status as a popular destination for both summer and winter tourism. The village is part of the municipality of St. Gallenkirch and is often referred to as the "sunny balcony of the Montafon."

In winter, Gargellen is a key part of the Silvretta Montafon ski area, one of the largest and most modern ski resorts in Austria. The village is particularly renowned for its excellent snow reliability and its family-friendly atmosphere. Ski touring and snowshoeing are also popular activities.
