Ganttskjema

Ganttskjema, often referred to as a Gantt chart, is a project management tool that visually represents a project schedule. It illustrates the start and end dates of project elements, as well as their dependencies. Invented by Henry Gantt in 1910, this graphical representation has become a staple in project planning and tracking.

A Gantt chart is typically depicted as a horizontal bar chart. Each bar represents a task or activity within a project. The length of the bar corresponds to the duration of the task, and its position on the horizontal axis indicates the start and end dates. Dependencies between tasks, where one task cannot begin until another is completed, are often shown using lines or arrows connecting the bars.

The primary benefits of using a Gantt chart include clear visualization of the project timeline, identification of critical path activities, and improved communication among team members and stakeholders. Project managers can use it to monitor progress, identify potential bottlenecks, and make informed decisions about resource allocation and schedule adjustments.
