Gaislachkogl

Gaislachkogl is a mountain in the Ötztal Alps in Tyrol, Austria. It reaches an elevation of 3,056 meters (10,026 feet) above the Adriatic Sea. The mountain is situated in the Sölden ski resort area, making it a popular destination for winter sports enthusiasts.

The summit of Gaislachkogl is accessible via cable car. The Gaislachkogelbahn, a modern gondola lift, transports visitors from the valley floor to the mid-station and then to the summit. This allows easy access for skiers, snowboarders, and hikers.

During the winter season, Gaislachkogl offers a variety of ski slopes catering to different skill levels. It is part of the larger Sölden ski area, known for its extensive network of runs and modern lift facilities. At the summit, visitors can find the "ICE Q" restaurant, a contemporary architectural structure that gained international recognition for its minimalist design and stunning location. The restaurant has also served as a filming location, notably for the James Bond film Spectre.
