Führausgang, also known as the "Führer's Exit" or "Führer's Escape," refers to the dramatic and controversial escape of Adolf Hitler from his underground bunker in Berlin on April 30, 1945, during the final days of World War II. The event is shrouded in mystery and speculation, as Hitler's exact whereabouts and fate remain unknown.

Hitler, along with Eva Braun, his longtime companion, left the bunker in a Volkswagen Kübelwagen, a small armored vehicle. The journey took them through the streets of Berlin, which were already in ruins due to the ongoing Allied bombing. They were eventually captured by American soldiers near the town of Berchtesgaden, in the Bavarian Alps, on May 2, 1945.

The escape has been the subject of much debate and conspiracy theories. Some historians suggest that Hitler may have been attempting to reach the western Allies, hoping for a negotiated peace or even a new government in exile. Others propose that he was trying to reach his mountain retreat in the Bavarian Alps, where he had planned to continue the fight.
