Fóliaelválás
Fóliaelválás, a term originating from Hungarian, describes a phenomenon where a plastic film or foil begins to peel or detach from a surface it is adhered to. This can occur for a variety of reasons, often related to the adhesive properties, the surface material, environmental factors, or the application process itself. Common causes include insufficient surface preparation, contamination on either the adhesive or the surface, improper application leading to air bubbles or uneven pressure, and exposure to extreme temperatures or humidity. Over time, the adhesive may degrade, losing its bonding strength, or the film itself might shrink or expand, creating stress at the interface. This can result in curling edges, lifting sections, or complete delamination.
The consequences of fóliaelválás vary depending on the context. In packaging, it can compromise product integrity
