Fundamentaalianalyysiä is the Finnish term for fundamental analysis, a method used in finance to determine the intrinsic value of an asset. It involves examining macroeconomic and microeconomic factors to evaluate securities. Macroeconomic factors include the overall state of the economy, interest rates, inflation, and political events. Microeconomic factors focus on the specific company or asset being analyzed, such as its financial statements, management quality, competitive landscape, and industry trends.

The goal of fundamental analysis is to ascertain whether an asset's current market price is overvalued, undervalued, or fairly priced. Investors who employ this approach believe that the market price of a security will eventually converge with its intrinsic value. By identifying undervalued assets, investors aim to profit from the eventual price appreciation.
