Friidrottsanläggning is a Swedish term that translates to "athletics facility" or "track and field stadium." It refers to a dedicated venue designed for the practice and competition of track and field events. These facilities are essential for sports clubs, schools, and professional athletes to train and compete in disciplines such as running, jumping, and throwing.

A typical friidrottsanläggning will feature a running track, usually oval-shaped and surfaced with synthetic material, designed for sprints, middle-distance, and long-distance races. Around the infield, there are designated areas for field events. These include pits for long jump and triple jump, a sand pit for pole vault, and sectors for discus, hammer, and javelin throws.
