Fremsendelse

Fremsendelse, in Danish law, is the act of sending documents or information from one party to another, especially in formal administrative and legal contexts. In civil procedure, fremsendelse typically means that a party must transmit copies of pleadings, evidence, or other case materials to the court and to the opposing party within specified deadlines. The process often occurs through official channels such as digital portals, e-Boks, or Digital Post, and may require that documents include identifiers like case numbers and correspond to the relevant procedural steps. Timeliness and completeness are important; late fremsendelse can lead to procedural delays, rejection of submissions, or sanctions prescribed by the rules governing the case.

Differences from ordinary sending lie in the formal context and the recipients; fremsendelse implies that the material is part of a formal procedure and must be made available to specified parties and authorities. In practice, parties should verify transmission methods, confirm receipt, and adhere to any defined formats or certifications if required.
