Franschhoek
Franschhoek is a town in the Western Cape province of South Africa, situated about 75 kilometers east of Cape Town. It is renowned for its picturesque valley, historic Cape Dutch architecture, and its significant role in South African wine production. The town was founded by French Huguenot refugees in 1688, who brought with them their winemaking expertise, which laid the foundation for the region's esteemed viticultural heritage.
The Franschhoek Valley is one of South Africa's oldest wine-producing regions. Today, it is home to numerous
