FrankFrancis is a digital art collective founded in 2014 by artists Frank Bussone and Francis Zagar. The collective is known for its innovative approach to digital art, combining traditional art techniques with cutting-edge technology. FrankFrancis creates a wide range of digital artworks, including paintings, sculptures, and installations, that explore themes such as identity, technology, and the human condition.

The collective's work often incorporates elements of AI and machine learning, using algorithms to generate unique art pieces. For example, their project "Portrait of Edmond Belamy" sold for $432,500 at Christie's in 2018, becoming one of the most expensive pieces of art ever sold at auction. This work was created using an AI algorithm that learned from a dataset of 15,000 portraits, generating a new, original portrait.

FrankFrancis has also collaborated with other artists and brands, such as the fashion house Balenciaga, to create digital artworks. Their work has been exhibited in galleries and museums around the world, including the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York and the Centre Pompidou in Paris.
