FranchesMontagnes
FranchesMontagnes is a municipality located in the canton of Jura in Switzerland. It lies in the northwestern part of the country, near the French border. The municipality was formed in 2013 through the merger of the former municipalities of Saignelégier, Muriaux, and Les Enfers.
The region is characterized by its hilly landscape and extensive forests, typical of the Jura mountain range.
The municipality's administrative center is Saignelégier, a market town with a history dating back several centuries.
