Framids

Framids are a hypothetical class of particles that have been proposed in some theoretical extensions of the Standard Model of particle physics. The term "framid" is derived from "frame," suggesting a connection to the fundamental structure or framework of spacetime. These particles are theorized to interact very weakly with ordinary matter and with the known fundamental forces, making them potentially difficult to detect.

The concept of framids often arises in theories that attempt to unify gravity with other fundamental forces, such as string theory or certain models of quantum gravity. In such frameworks, framids might be associated with extra spatial dimensions or with exotic states of matter. Their properties, such as mass and spin, are not precisely determined and depend heavily on the specific theoretical model in which they are proposed.

If framids exist, they could have significant cosmological implications. Their weak interactions might allow them to form a component of dark matter, the mysterious substance that makes up a substantial portion of the universe's mass. Studying the potential effects of framids on galactic structures or the cosmic microwave background could offer indirect evidence for their existence.
