Fossiilijäännösten are the preserved remains or traces of ancient organisms. These can include bones, teeth, shells, footprints, or even impressions of soft tissues. Paleontologists, scientists who study fossils, carefully excavate these specimens and analyze them to determine their age, biological classification, and the environment in which they lived.
