Two typical variants within the formalisele framework are the explicit protocol style, which favors structured introductions, hedging, and certain passive constructions, and the deferential style, which emphasizes titles, salutations, and the use of modal verbs. Features are treated as a toolkit that can be adapted across languages and contexts rather than as universal rules.

In practice, formalisele can guide both human and computational text production. It is used in education to illustrate contrasts in tone, and in natural language generation to simulate formal correspondence, such as academic abstracts or professional summaries.
