Fluoropigments
Fluoropigments are a class of organic pigments that exhibit fluorescence, meaning they absorb light at one wavelength and re-emit it at a longer wavelength. This phenomenon results in exceptionally bright and vivid colors, often appearing to glow under certain lighting conditions, particularly when exposed to ultraviolet (UV) light. They are distinct from phosphorescent materials, which continue to emit light after the excitation source is removed.
The color properties of fluoropigments are derived from their chemical structures, which typically contain conjugated systems
Fluoropigments find application in various industries due to their unique visual characteristics. They are widely used
