Fluorblåsningsmidler refer to a class of chemical compounds that contain fluorine and are used in various industrial processes, particularly in the production of polymers and materials. These substances are characterized by the presence of strong carbon-fluorine bonds, which impart unique properties such as high thermal stability, chemical inertness, and low surface energy.

One common application of fluorblåsningsmidler is in the manufacturing of fluoropolymers like PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), known for its non-stick properties and resistance to heat and chemicals.
