Flugleiðir
Flugleiðir is an Icelandic airline that was founded in 1944. Initially, it operated as a charter airline, but it soon expanded its services to include scheduled flights. The company played a crucial role in connecting Iceland with the rest of the world, especially during the post-World War II era. Over the years, Flugleiðir grew and modernized its fleet, becoming a significant player in European air travel.
In 2003, Flugleiðir merged with the Icelandic company Icelandair, creating a new parent company known as Icelandair
