Flaxderived

Flaxderived is a term used to describe products or materials that are derived from flaxseed, also known as linseed. Flaxseed is the seed of the flax plant (Linum usitatissimum), an annual herb cultivated for its fiber and seeds. The plant has been a source of textile fiber and edible oil for thousands of years, with its origins tracing back to ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia.

The "derived" aspect of flaxderived signifies that the flaxseed has undergone processing to extract or utilize specific components. This can include the extraction of flaxseed oil, a rich source of omega-3 fatty acids, particularly alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), as well as lignans and fiber.
