Finlanda is a country located in Northern Europe, also known as Finland. It is bordered by Sweden to the west, Norway to the north, and Russia to the east. The Gulf of Bothnia lies to its southwest and the Gulf of Finland to its south. The capital and largest city is Helsinki. The country is characterized by its vast forests and numerous lakes, earning it the nickname "Land of a Thousand Lakes," although it actually has far more than that. The landscape is largely flat, with a few hilly areas in the north.
