Filtreeriv

Filtreeriv, also known as the *Filtreeriv* or *Filtreerivier*, is a small, lesser-known river located in the southern part of the Netherlands, specifically in the province of North Brabant. The river is a tributary of the Dommel, a minor river that eventually flows into the Maas (Meuse River). The name "Filtreeriv" translates roughly to "Filter River," which may refer to its historical role in filtering or regulating water flow in the region.

The Filtreeriv originates in the wooded areas near the village of Heeze, where it begins as a series of small streams that gradually converge into a single watercourse. It flows through a mix of agricultural land and forested areas before merging with the Dommel near the town of Heeze-De Mierden. The river is relatively short, spanning only a few kilometers in length, and its course is largely unremarkable compared to larger Dutch waterways.
