Fender
Fender Musical Instruments Corporation, commonly known as Fender, is an American manufacturer of guitars, basses, amplifiers and related equipment. Founded in 1946 by Leo Fender in Fullerton, California, the company helped establish the modern solid-body electric guitar with the Telecaster (introduced as the Broadcaster in 1950) and the Stratocaster (1954). Its bass instruments, beginning with the Precision Bass (1951) and the Jazz Bass (1960), were equally influential. Over the decades, Fender expanded into amplifiers, pedals and electronics, developing a wide range of iconic gear and signature models.
