Felületkorrózió

Felületkorrózió refers to the degradation of a material's surface due to electrochemical or chemical reactions with its environment. It is a common form of corrosion that affects a wide range of metals and alloys. The process typically involves the formation of an electrochemical cell on the material's surface, where anodic and cathodic sites interact. At the anodic sites, metal atoms lose electrons and become positively charged ions, dissolving into the environment. At the cathodic sites, electrons are consumed, often by reacting with oxygen or hydrogen ions.

The rate and extent of felületkorrózió depend on several factors, including the type of material, the composition of the surrounding environment (e.g., presence of electrolytes, temperature, humidity), and the surface condition of the material.
