Fasstabilliteten
Fasstabilliteten refers to the stability of a fasciation, a biological phenomenon where a plant's stem grows in a flattened, ribbon-like, or crested form instead of its normal cylindrical shape. This abnormal growth pattern is often caused by a mutation in the plant's meristematic tissue, the area responsible for new growth. While the cause is often genetic, environmental factors such as viral infections or mechanical damage can also contribute to fasciation in some cases.
