FasTrak
FasTrak is an electronic toll collection system used on toll roads, bridges, and express lanes in several U.S. states, primarily California. It allows drivers to pay tolls electronically without stopping, using a transponder device mounted on their vehicle's windshield. When a vehicle passes through a toll plaza or an express lane entrance, the transponder communicates with roadside sensors, deducting the toll amount from a pre-paid account.
The system was first implemented in California in the 1990s to improve traffic flow and reduce congestion
Users can manage their FasTrak accounts online or through a mobile app, where they can view toll
