Famitracker is a freeware music tracker software for Windows, created by rainwarrior. It is designed to emulate the sound chip of the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), also known as the Famicom in Japan. The software allows users to compose music using the characteristic sound capabilities of the NES, including its multiple pulse wave channels, a triangle wave channel, and a noise channel. It also supports sample playback, a feature not present on the original NES hardware but commonly used in later demoscene productions and fan-made music.
