Verification and authenticity: A product being factorysealed does not guarantee perfect function; some items may have latent defects or recalls. Seals can be damaged or reapplied; counterfeit seals and mislabeling occur in gray markets. Buyers should inspect the packaging for tampering, compare barcodes, and consider seller reputation.
