Faasimuuntaminen

Faasimuuntaminen refers to the process of converting electrical energy from one phase configuration to another. This is typically necessary in electrical power systems where different equipment or sections of the grid operate with varying numbers of phases. The most common conversion is between single-phase and three-phase power, and vice-versa.

Single-phase power is widely used in residential and small commercial settings for lighting and general appliances. Three-phase power, on the other hand, is more efficient for large motors, industrial machinery, and heavy-duty loads due to its consistent power delivery and higher power capacity.
