Ezema
Ezema refers to a medical condition characterized by inflammation of the skin, often resulting in redness, itching, and dryness. It is a broad term encompassing several types of dermatitis, each with potentially distinct causes and presentations. Common forms include atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, and seborrheic dermatitis. Atopic dermatitis, also known as eczema, is a chronic condition often linked to genetic factors and a compromised skin barrier. Contact dermatitis arises from direct contact with an irritant or allergen. Seborrheic dermatitis typically affects areas rich in oil glands, such as the scalp and face, and is thought to be related to a yeast naturally present on the skin.
The symptoms of ezema can vary in severity and may include rash, blisters, weeping, or crusting of
