The phrase is a fixed expression in Hungarian and does not decline; it appears with various verbs in the first person, such as értesítem, tájékoztatom, vagy kérem, to indicate that the sender is performing an act through the document.

Usage notes: It tends to sound formal, bureaucratic, or ceremonial. In everyday or informal communication, speakers often choose alternatives such as ezzel, ezáltal, vagy ebben a közleményben. It is common in letters or notices to begin phrases with "Ezúton" or to use constructions like "Ezúton értesítem" or "Ezúton tájékoztatom" to introduce an official notice or request.

Examples: "Ezúton értesítem Önt arról, hogy a határidő 2025. július 1-jén lejár." "Ezúton tájékoztatom a résztvevőket a változásokról." "Ezúton köszönöm a közreműködést."
