Eyasi
Eyasi commonly refers to Lake Eyasi, a shallow freshwater lake in northern Tanzania. It lies in the East African Rift system, in the highlands south of the Ngorongoro Crater and near the town of Karatu in the Arusha Region. The lake’s surface area varies with rainfall, and it is fed by several streams from the surrounding highlands; outflow is mainly by evaporation, so the water level and extent fluctuate seasonally.
