Extensorials

Extensorials are a concept in theoretical physics, particularly in the context of theories aiming to unify gravity with other fundamental forces. The term "extensorial" suggests a connection to tensors, which are mathematical objects used to describe physical quantities in a coordinate-independent manner. In essence, extensorial approaches propose that fundamental physical fields and interactions might be better described not as simple fields in spacetime, but as more complex geometric structures that extend beyond the standard four dimensions.

These extended structures could possess additional degrees of freedom or internal symmetries that are not apparent in the observed universe. The idea is that the familiar fields and particles of the Standard Model, and even spacetime itself, might arise as a projection or a specific manifestation of these more fundamental extensorial entities. This perspective allows for the possibility of extra spatial dimensions or other abstract dimensions that are compactified or otherwise hidden from direct observation.

Extensorial theories often aim to provide a more unified framework for describing gravity and quantum mechanics, as well as potentially explaining phenomena like dark matter and dark energy.
