Excepcion
Excepcion is a term that can have different meanings depending on the context, most notably in law and computing. In a legal context, an excepcion (Spanish for exception) refers to a defense or objection raised by a defendant that, if proven, would defeat or nullify the plaintiff's claim. These exceptions can be based on procedural grounds, such as a statute of limitations, or on substantive grounds, like duress or lack of jurisdiction.
