Evergrey

Evergrey is a Swedish heavy metal band formed in Gothenburg in 1995. The band's music is characterized by its blend of melancholic melodies, heavy guitar riffs, and often somber lyrical themes. They are considered pioneers of the Gothenburg metal sound, which combines elements of melodic death metal with gothic and doom metal influences.

The current lineup of Evergrey consists of Tom S. Englund on vocals and guitar, Rikard Zander on keyboards, Jonas Ekdahl on drums, Johan Niemann on bass, and Henrik Danhage on guitar. Englund is the primary songwriter and the only constant member since the band's inception. Over the years, Evergrey has experienced several lineup changes, but their core sound has remained consistent.

Evergrey's discography includes a number of studio albums, with their debut "The Dark Discovery" released in 1998. Subsequent albums such as "Solitude's End" (1999), "In Search of Truth" (2001), "The Inevitable Wild" (2004), and "Recreation Day" (2005) have further established their signature style.
