Eurooplastes

Eurooplastes is a genus of snout moths in the family Crambidae. The genus was erected by Émile Bohatsch in 1910. Species within this genus are primarily found in the Palearctic region.

The adult moths of Eurooplastes are characterized by their forewings which are often elongated and pointed. The coloration and patterns can vary, but typically include earthy tones, browns, and grays, providing camouflage against bark or foliage. The hindwings are usually simpler in design. The antennae are filiform in females and often more complex, sometimes bipectinate, in males.
