Etterförhållande

Etterförhållande is a Norwegian term that translates to "after-marriage" or "postnuptial agreement" in English. It refers to a legal contract entered into by a married couple after their wedding. Unlike prenuptial agreements which are made before marriage, etterförhållande addresses the division of assets and liabilities in the event of divorce, separation, or death of one spouse.

The primary purpose of an etterförhållande is to clarify financial arrangements and provide certainty for both parties.
