This method is often favored for its precision and ability to create fine details.

Physical etching methods, while less common in fine art or industrial applications, involve using abrasive materials or tools to wear away the surface. Sandblasting, for instance, uses high-pressure air to propel abrasive particles, which can etch patterns into glass or metal.
