Ethanolrich
Ethanol-rich refers to a type of fuel that has a high concentration of ethanol, typically used as an alternative to traditional gasoline. Ethanol is an alcohol produced by the fermentation of sugars found in plants, most commonly corn, sugarcane, or wheat. When blended with gasoline, ethanol-rich fuels can reduce greenhouse gas emissions and dependence on fossil fuels. The most common ethanol-rich fuel is E10, which contains 10% ethanol and 90% gasoline. Higher concentrations, such as E85, which is 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline, are also used in flexible-fuel vehicles that can run on either gasoline or ethanol.
Ethanol-rich fuels have several advantages. They can help reduce air pollution by decreasing the emission of
The use of ethanol-rich fuels is regulated by various standards and guidelines to ensure safety and performance.
