Erärajapinta (Finnish: “erä” meaning batch or lot, “rajapinta” meaning interface) is a term used primarily in manufacturing and quality assurance contexts to denote a standardized testing or inspection interface applied to a group of identical or similar products. The concept is analogous to a batch test point in electronics, where a single access point allows testers to evaluate multiple units simultaneously for consistency, performance, and defect rates. In automotive, aerospace, and electronic component production, erärajapinta protocols are defined to ensure that all items of a batch meet the same functional criteria before certification or release.

The design of an erärajapinta typically includes predetermined connectors, signal lines, and data protocols that are consistent across all units in the batch.
