Erakapitalist

Erakapitalist is a term used in online discussions to describe a person associated with a particular informal variant of capitalism. Because it is not standardized, definitions of erakapitalist vary across communities. In general, the label is applied to individuals who advocate for strong private property rights and market competition, but who also subscribe to explicit design principles or constraints intended to improve outcomes beyond pure laissez-faire economics.

Origins and usage: The word appears sporadically in blogs, forums, and social media in the 2010s and 2020s, though it has never achieved formal recognition in mainstream economics. The term is sometimes used self-referentially by adherents and sometimes by critics who want to emphasize perceived differences from other strands of capitalism or from socialism.
