It is not an automatic renewal; it is a negotiated amendment that specifies the new deadlines, any cost implications, and the conditions for completion. In practice, an endeforlængelse requires written consent by all parties and should be documented as a contract amendment. The extension is typically limited in duration and may be tied to specific milestones or regulatory approvals.
