Elenian is a fictional planet within the Andromeda Galaxy, featured in the science fiction novel "Chronicles of Xylos". The planet is described as having a predominantly arid surface, characterized by vast deserts and rocky plains. Its atmosphere is thin and composed primarily of nitrogen and argon, with trace amounts of oxygen, making it difficult for most Earth-like organisms to survive without specialized equipment. Elenian orbits a binary star system, resulting in complex and often unpredictable light cycles.

The native inhabitants of Elenian are the K'tharr, a silicon-based lifeform adapted to the planet's harsh conditions. They are known for their resilience and their advanced understanding of geology and resource management. The K'tharr civilization is structured around subterranean cities, built to escape the extreme surface temperatures and radiation from the binary stars.
