Elektronfelépítésük refers to the electron configuration of atoms and molecules in Hungarian. This concept is fundamental to understanding chemical bonding, reactivity, and the properties of elements and compounds. The electron configuration describes the arrangement of electrons within an atom's electron shells and subshells. Electrons occupy specific energy levels, starting from the lowest energy levels and filling outwards. This arrangement is governed by the Aufbau principle, Hund's rule, and the Pauli exclusion principle.

The Aufbau principle states that electrons fill atomic orbitals in order of increasing energy. Hund's rule dictates that within a subshell, electrons will individually occupy each orbital before pairing up. The Pauli exclusion principle states that no two electrons in an atom can have the same set of four quantum numbers, meaning each orbital can hold a maximum of two electrons with opposite spins.
