Elektrimoootoreid, commonly referred to as electric motors, are devices that convert electrical energy into mechanical energy. AC motors are widely used in industrial settings and homes due to the prevalent use of alternating current electricity. DC motors are often found in battery-powered devices and applications where precise speed control is required. Further classifications exist within these categories, such as induction motors, synchronous motors, brushed DC motors, and brushless DC motors, each with its own specific characteristics and advantages. The efficiency and performance of an electric motor depend on its design, materials, and the electrical supply it receives.
