Elekid

Elekid is a small, yellow Pokémon resembling an electric eel. It has a distinctive circular pattern on its belly and three black stripes on its back. Elekid possesses a small horn-like appendage on its head, which it uses to generate electricity. This horn crackles with energy when Elekid is excited or ready to battle. Elekid typically lives in grassy or rocky areas and is often found in groups. It is known for its energetic nature and a tendency to playfully shock those around it.

Elekid evolves into Electabuzz starting at level 30. Electabuzz is a larger, more powerful Electric-type Pokémon. Further evolution is possible through trading while holding an Electirizer, which transforms Electabuzz into the formidable Electivire. Elekid's design is thought to be inspired by the electric eel, a creature known for its ability to produce electric shocks. Its name is a portmanteau of "electric" and "kid," reflecting its status as an infant electric Pokémon. In battle, Elekid utilizes various electric-type moves, often characterized by its speed and surprising electrical output for its size. Its small stature and relatively weak attack power are compensated by its agility and the potential for disruptive electrical attacks.
