Electirizer

The Electirizer is an item in the Pokémon franchise that is used to evolve the Pokémon Electabuzz into Electivire. This evolution occurs when Electabuzz is traded while holding an Electirizer. The Electirizer is a held item that is consumed upon evolution. It has a distinct appearance, resembling a black, three-pronged electrical plug.

The Electirizer was introduced in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, the first main series games set in the Sinnoh region. Prior to its introduction, Electabuzz could only evolve into its pre-evolution form, Elekid, and did not have an evolved form beyond Electabuzz itself. The Electirizer's addition provided a new evolutionary path for this Electric-type Pokémon, adding a powerful new creature to the Pokédex.

In the games, Electirizers can be found in various locations, often as rare drops from wild Pokémon or as items hidden in the environment. They can also sometimes be obtained through in-game events or trading with non-player characters. The item's function is solely tied to the evolution of Electabuzz, making it a key component for trainers aiming to complete their Sinnoh Pokédex or to acquire the powerful Electivire.
