Electionor

Electionor is not a standard term in political science or civics. It is not widely defined in dictionaries and tends to appear as a nonce or misspelling rather than as a formal role. When encountered, its meaning is inferred from context, and it may reflect an author’s attempt to coin a term or a simple typographical error for "elector" or "electioneer."

Possible interpretations include: as a coinage for a person who administers elections, an election official or election administrator; or in speculative or fictional writing, a role analogous to an elector or a certification authority that validates election results. In standard usage, however, the terms election official or elector are preferred, and electionor is rarely, if ever, used in formal contexts.

Etymology and linguistics: the form appears to blend "election" with the agent noun suffix -or, which is unusual because the related verb to elect yields the agent noun elector rather than electionor. This irregularity reinforces its nonstandard character. The recognized terms elector (a member of a voting body) and election (the process) derive from related Latin roots but have distinct ordinary usages in English.
