They may also propose regulatory guidelines for handling exothermic materials and for mitigating runaway reactions.

In fiction or educational exercises, eksotermilists are sometimes portrayed as consultants to energy startups, aerospace programs, or safety agencies, tasked with evaluating risk and advising on thermal management strategies.
