EksoNR

EksoNR is a powered exoskeleton developed by Ekso Bionics for clinical gait rehabilitation. It enables supervised over-ground walking therapy for individuals with lower-extremity weakness due to spinal cord injury, stroke, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, or other neurological conditions.

The device is worn around the legs and hips and houses actuated joints at the hips and knees. It integrates with clinician software to tailor therapy, including parameters such as supervised speed, step length, and support level. It uses assist-as-needed control to provide movement support and encourage patient effort. Therapy is typically delivered with parallel bars or a harness system and may be conducted with a treadmill or over-ground training.

Clinicians assess patient eligibility, fit the device, and program sessions to address rehabilitation goals.
