Egneans are characterized by a strong maritime heritage and a culture shaped by proximity to the sea.

Egnean geography comprises one large central island and several smaller islets, located in a temperate sea lane. The capital is Caelport, situated on the central coast and serving as the main hub for administration and commerce. The country operates as a parliamentary republic. The President is the ceremonial head of state, while the Prime Minister leads the government and the unicameral Assembly of Sixty enacts legislation.
