Egbaland is a historical and cultural region in southwestern Nigeria, primarily inhabited by the Egba people, a sub-group of the Yoruba ethnic nation. The Egba people trace their origins to Ile-Ife, the ancestral home of the Yoruba, and migrated to their current homeland over centuries.
